NAID Speaks at ARMA Great NW Regional Conference

Last week, NAID CEO Bob Johnson spoke at the ARMA Great NW Regional Conference, “Breaking Bad Barriers – Elements for Success” held in Seattle on April 5-6. RIM and IG professionals from various verticals attended from Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and of course Washington.
Johnson’s session covered “Data Disposition and Regulatory Fail-Safes”, acknowledging that proper information disposition is one of the overlooked and misunderstood areas of records management, which is why it is often the weakest link in regulatory compliance<
and data protection. He went on to say, “It is exciting for me to share the industry perspective with these professionals and see the lights go on right in front of you.”
This continues Johnson’s growing travel campaign to promote his book Information Disposition: A Practical Guide to the Secure, Compliant Disposal of Records, Media, and IT Assets.<
