NEW ARMA INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES CREDITS NAID INPUT
The Association of Records Managers and Administrators recently released Guidelines for the Selection of Data Destruction Services. The publication is available for the general public through ARMA’s website.
The guidelines project unfolded over the last year and involved NAID’s input from the beginning. As a result the association is clearly acknowledged within the first few pages of the publication.
Dan Bayha of NAID Member-company Back-thru-the-Future was a member of the ARMA guidelines development committee from day one. Back-thru-the-Future has been NAID Certified since 2006.Largely as the result of Dan’s urging, the ARMA guidelines committee sought input from Executive Director Bob Johnson and used both the NAID Certification specifications and the NAID Compliance Toolkit as sources for their work.
