PERSONAL INFORMATION BELONGING TO HOMELESS VETERANS FOUND IN DUMPSTER
 

A report written by Daniel Miller posted to the website of Indianapolis TV station WISH on April 20th, claims that scores of records containing sensitive medical records and other personal information about homeless veterans were discovered in the trash.

 
The incident is apparently the result of careless disposal during an office move by a veteran’s support agency.
 
As a result of the investigation, two employees were fired for neglecting their responsibility to properly destroy the records.
