NAID-CANADA ANNUAL CONFERENCE DATES SET

NAID-Canada’s Annual Conference, postponed from last February, has been rescheduled for November 10th and 11th, 2008 at the Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto.

Among the speakers already lined up for the event are the recently appointed Canadian Assistant Privacy Commissioner, Elizabeth Denham (pictured) and Kenneth Clupp, Senior Technical Security Consultant for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

Information regarding exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities will be released in June. As usual, the NAID-Canada Annual Conference will focus on attracting security, records management, human resource, and privacy officials from business and government seeking guidance on information destruction issues and policy.

The event was moved from February to November to avoid promoting it over the holiday season.
