COLLEGE STUDENTS’ RECORDS TRASHED
An article by Chris Osuh posted to the website of Manchester Evening News (Manchester, England), reports that on March 24th confidential information of students at a local college has been found near a dumpster in the parking lot.
According to the report, the documents had been torn but no attempt had been made to conceal the information on them. Listed on the records were the confidential details of nine students in a teaching assistants' course, including their names, addresses and national insurance numbers.
The report states that the records also detailed student’s gender, dates of birth, ethnicities, mobile phone numbers, landlines, email addresses, preferred titles, course status and name of their tutors.
