INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE ALIVE AND WELL . . . CIA STYLE
An article by Douglas Frantz posted on the website RINF.com discusses how retired C.I.A. agents, who are now becoming more active in the industrial espionage arena, are changing the way this pervasive business practice in conducted. While the article contends that “certain old-school firms won’t stoop to dumpster diving or stealing garbage—which is usually legal as long as the trash is on a curb or other public areas,” it makes it clear that they all don’t feel that way.
It is a very long article but full of great stories and intrigue that will give any reader a new appreciation for the extent to which industrial espionage plays a roll in today’s business environment.
